SQL in the City Streamed June 2018

Welcome to the second instalment of Redgate’s free virtual SQL Server training event, SQL in the City Streamed, which streams live every quarter during 2018.

When: Wednesday June 20

Where: Livestream on the Redgate Hub

Time: 12PM – 5:30PM (BST – convert)

Duration: 5 hours 30 minutes – gather your team together for a training day

The theme for SQL in the City Streamed on June 20 is Compliant Database DevOps. Data privacy regulations such as the GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX make it essential for SQL Server teams to implement controls and processes for protecting personal data. But this doesn’t mean you need to lock your data away or slow down your development processes.

Redgate’s tools help you to put in place Database DevOps processes that align neatly with data privacy and protection requirements. Enabling database updates and changes to be delivered in a consistent, reliable and repeatable way, while keeping sensitive information safe.

Redgate’s Microsoft Data Platform MVPs, Steve Jones, Grant Fritchey and Kathi Kellenberger (Editor of Simple Talk) are heading up the speaker line-up, and will be joined by other technical experts from the team at Redgate.

The livestream schedule will include sessions to help you learn how to demonstrate compliance with regulations such as the GDPR, reduce your attack surface area, and monitor your entire estate while improving the way you deliver database changes.

  • Discover how to standardize GDPR-compliant processes with Database DevOps
  • Learn how to monitor and keep sensitive data secure
